Mfana Kah Gogo and his team survived a car accident. The Amapiano vocalist whose real name is Sipho Mbonambi said they were on their way to a gig when they had the horrific accident.
Mfana says he is okay but the driver is fighting for his life in the hospital and needs prayers.
“We were on the way to the gig when the accident happened. My DJ was hurt, but he got discharged today. My producers are also okay but the driver needs our prayers, he says.
“I got a few scratches, nothing major. The driver dislocated his shoulder and hurt his foot.”
“The four were driving in a Toyota Hilux when the driver was avoiding a car that failed to yield at a circle. He lost control and their vehicle overturned several times.”
Mfana who recently passed his Matric urged people to keep praying.
“I believe that he will be okay, with prayers.”
The event which they were going for will be decided after everyone has fully recovered.
“We don’t know as yet whether we are postponing or canceling but we will know once everyone has fully recovered. We are glad that everyone is okay, we just pray that all goes well with the drive,” Mfana’s manager Mafutha Sokhela tells ZiMoja.
