SA’s Biggest Gospel Stars Will Headline The Annual Soul Inspired Concert In Johannesburg!

Kaya 959 and SPAR are proud to present the return of the Soul Inspired concert extravaganza. Featuring some of South Africa’s most popular Gospel artists, Soul Inspired provides much-needed soul replenishment as 2023 winds down and heads into the Festive Season.

Soul Inspired will include live performances by Takie Ndou, Sbu Noah, Winnie Mashaba, Dumi Mkokstad, Bethusile (Mcinga) and Ntokozo Mbambo.

The concert is presented by Kaya 959 and SPAR.

Date: Saturday 9 December

Venue: Mosaiek Teatro, 1 Danielle street, Fairland, Randburg.

Time:  6 – 10pm

Takie Ndou:

Takie (Aubrey Takalani) Ndou is an anointed Gospel artist, a song writer and a music producer bom

and bred in Venda, Limpopo. He is also a  fully qualified IT Specialist and served in the respective field for two years, before making a decision to pursue his music career full time. His notable work includes collaborations with the likes of  Spirit of Praise, Gospel Goes Classical, Tshwane Gospel Choir, Dr.Rebecca Malope, Bishop Benjamin Dube, Vashawn Mitchell (USA), Sipho Ngwenya, the late Prophet Neyi Zimu, Pastor Collen Maluleke and many others.

Sbu Noah: 

Sbu Noah

Sibusiso ‘Sbu Noah’ Mthembu, is a platinum-selling and award-winning singer-songwriter who has written songs for the likes of Joyous Celebration, Nothando Hlophe, Hlengiwe Mhlaba and many others.He joined Joyous Celebration in 2012 and recorded numerous albums with the ensemble. His first album “A David Kind Of Psalm” reached platinum status last year.

Winnie Mashaba: 

Winnie Mashaba

Award-winning gospel sensation Dr Winnie Mashaba, as she is now referred to, hails from a small town in Limpopo and started singing at a young age. To her name she has hit songs that have matured into gospel classics such as: ‘Menwana Phezulu’, ‘Re Tla Mo Leboga Kang’, ‘Joang kapa Joang’ and ‘Ke Rata Wena’ which have received accolades from Gold Discs to Double Platinum’s for the past 25 years, under the guidance of her long-time producer, Faxa Dube.

Bethusile (Mcinga):

Born in Willowvale and Raised in Umtata in the Eastern Cape, gospel singer-songwriter Betusile is the founder and MD of his own record label called Nduna Events Management, under which he released his successful single entitled “Ngena Noah”.

Ntokozo Mbambo: 

Ntokozo Mbambo

With a successful career of over two decades in gospel music, Ntokozo Mbambo joined Joyous Celebration in her teen years and served as the lead singer for 13 years, before venturing into a solo music career under Koko records. To date, her recent album ‘Lavish Worship’ received three award nominations.
